...is a motor strapped to four wheels. Yesterday I had the pleasure of going Karting for the first time, and with the guys from Boomba Racing to boot. I didn't do too well (last or, second to last) but it was amazing amounts of fun. Here is a video of the first race, which ended a little prematurely for me.
I to properly negotiate the turn after passing, probably because I took a second to look back over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't about to get plowed. I was ejected from that race, but they were nice enough to let me race in the final two. I think they subconsciously (maybe consciously) punished me with the Kart the gave me for the last 2 races -- it was a piece.
There should be more content like this in the off-season, as we plan to make this a regular occurring event.. I also may be attending the Twin Solo Event in Joliet later this month, so the racing season may not be over just yet.
